Hi! Hi!

Today we have a special guest!

:iconfanoftill:

Gender: female

Country: Poland

Deviant for: 4 years

VampiraLady: How have you known dA community and site? Why did you join it?
FanOfTill:
As many people, I found the site while looking for some nice pictures, but I didn't register for long time (~2 years). I thought I'm not good enough to show my 'pictures'.

What was your first work submitted here?
I deleted my first pic some time ago. It was a sketch, portrait of a woman. Very badly made portrait of a woman xD Now the oldest picture in my gallery is fanoftill.deviantart.com/art/N…

Why do you create works?
For fun, pleasure and relax. In life I'm very inpatient person, I want everything now, immediately and I can't think hard on something longer than 10 minutes. When I draw, I can spare hours for one single detail, when it's not good enough in my opinion.
Also my watchers and favers are giving me the 'push' to draw. I'm happy, when someone tells 'you're good' or wants commission from me. All these things provoke me to practice and draw more and more detailed pictures.

Do you create manually? Digitally?
I prefer traditional tools: pencils, markers, sometimes ink. Photoshop usually doesn't listen to my commands xD Furthermore it's something beautiful, when you can touch your artwork, feel the paper and used tools between your fingers. It's magical for me.

Do you care about amount of your watchers, faved works, comments?
Yes and no. It's really nice, when you have many watchers, many comments and faves. It's also good when many people want a commission from you, but I don't have dA account to collect all these things. I'm here to improve and show my foregoing art. Favs, watches and comments are nice accession and motivation to harder work.

Your favorite dA artists? (why?)
Hard question :D (Big Grin) Many Deviants have awesome, incredible galleries. For me the best of the best is nathie. When I first time saw his gallery, I thought all this deviations are photos! He has amazing style and skills.
I like also gilll's gallery, because of her sick but brill humor. From polish artist my friend and favorite is RedMorpho.

What's the thing which is really troublesome for you in creating it? (what's the most difficult for you)?
Definitely perspective. I know, how it should work but my pencil simply doesn't listen to me. But, thank to another Deviant, I'm working on it.

Give the descripition of the place where do you make your works.
I'm drawing in bus, at school, at work :D (Big Grin) Every place is good for sketching, but fully colored illustrations I draw at home. They just need more patience and time. I'm also using more tools (markers, paints, ink etc.), so I need a place where I can hold them in safe way.
My room is medium sized, usually bright and has blue walls. I have little easel, but mostly I'm drawing on desk. It's big enough to seat A3 paper sized. When the easel and desk are not enough, I'm drawing on the floor.

What does inspire you?
Almost everything I see around me: people, plants, animals, various books, movies or magazines.
Especially I like - no, I love - Hans Giger works. Not only Alien, but all his stuff. I'd like to be so rich someday, that I could have a home designed in his style (Harkonnen Chairs!).
I also get inspired by myself. When I do RPG with friends, I usually draw the story or think 'what would be, if..' and draw the results of this thinking.

What do you like in your style/subjects of works? How do you think – what great advantages/skills do you have?
None D: I'm not even in 000001% a good artist. But I like my line, the way it sometimes goes strong and/or aggressive. Many people are also telling me that it's very typical for my drawings, so I guess I have something I can name 'style'! La la la la

Do you earn money on here? If not, would you like to?
Yes, I earned money on my works, but not much. I'd like to be a professional artist, it's beautiful when you earn money on what you love. The work turns into pleasure, not a 'torture'.

The worst thing which happened to you here?
When my premium goes off and I see all these advertises. It really piss me off xD

Tell me what would your life be without dA.
It would be boring xD I'm here at least once for a day. I help to guide few groups and also have my own. I love learn new things and styles with dA, so mostly I'm looking for tutorials. And I guess I can say there isn't any other site, which have so much tutorials and so much different categories. It's better than many books teaching how to draw. Without dA self-teaching would be really hard for me.

What's your attitude to showing someone's personality/personal life on dA? Do you do the same?
My private life is my business, I didn't write about it and I won't write about it. Of course, it's nothing bad, when you write about interesting thing happened to you (like concert f. ex.), but when you're drawing about everything every single day- it's kind of web exhibitionism for me.

Have you ever considered leaving dA? If so, why?
I don't think I'll ever leave dA. The site would had to change dramatically to make me consider this.

What do you want to tell our readers, on the end?
If you read all of this, you're awesome. Giggle :bulletred:
